The Out of Time Series is an amazing and exciting Christian and Dystopian book series! Nadine Brandes is an amazing writer and it shows with every new twist and turn in this book series. The story follows the incredible adventure of a girl on a mission from God to help save the people from the government. The Out of Time Series is now one of my favorite series ever! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes Science Fiction, Romance, Christian or Dystopian! Check out my reviews for more details on each book and things to mention!!
Book 1: A Time to Die
Age Range: 13 and up
Seventeen-year-old Parvin Blackwater has a clock, and because of that, she knows when she is going to die, and it’s in three hundred and sixty-five days. In fact, everyone who lives on the East side of the wall knows the exact year, day, minute, and second, they will die.
Book 2: A Time to Speak
Age Range: 13 and up
Parvin thought she would die after she came back to the East side of the wall, but that didn’t happen. Instead, Parvin came back home to her brother’s wife’s anger, her mother’s grief, and her father’s absence. She thought her work for God was done until she felt called to lead, but no one wanted to follow.
Book 3: A Time to Rise
Age Range: 13 and up
The Council told the world that Parvin Blackwater was dead, but they were wrong. Pravin survived, but the rest of the world is falling apart. After taking down a part of the wall, the other radicals followed suit and tried to escape to the west side. The Enforcers shot down the Radicals and the world took notice.
